Heisenberg on Stanford - RonO's Ramblings

Oct. 1st, 2009 10:30 am Heisenberg on Stanford

As I'm reading through the Wikipedia article on Stanford University, I came across the following quite from Werner Heisenberg about the location of Stanford: "I believe it is on the west coast of the United States, not far from San Francisco"

When I read that, I thought "Of course Heisenberg couldn't know for sure where Stanford was, after all as a university its velocity has to be zero, and one can never know both location and velocity with certainty."

{And, yes I know that the uncertainty principle only applies at a sub-atomic scale}
