2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz
A couple of observations:
- Not too surprisingly I'm the first person I've seen where the candidates come out with red on top.
- In both parties the order isn't too surprising. I might have expected either Huckabee or Paul to show up above McCain in the Republicans, but they all are a decent match to my ideal, just in different ways.
- The fact that Richardson is the top match from the Democrats is both not surprising, and a good validation of how I feel about him -- and showing that I'm not letting my home state bias me in any way. Since early in the campaign, before the Republicans started getting enough press for me to have heard much about them, I was thinking that Richardson would be the candidate I could come the closest to supporting.
- It is also interesting that the percent match difference between McCain and Richardson (top Republican and top Democrat) is less (but 1%) than the difference between Richardson and Kuchnich (top and bottom Democrat).
