Chicago Tribune: Some great seasons of seralized TV

As a side bar to an article on TV on the front page of today's (Friday December 10, 2004) Chicago Tribune is a list of "Some great seasons of serialized TV." Of the nine shows listed, six are SF or Fantasy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer -- season 3, Angel -- seasons 3 and 4, Babylon 5 -- seasons 3 and 4, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine -- seasons 6 and 7, Star Trek: Enterprise -- season 3, and The X-Files -- seasons 1-3), and two more are from the closely related spy genre (24 -- seasons 1 and 2, and Alias -- seasons 1 and 2).

The accompanying article does mention that a number of these shows are "sci-fi" so this fact didn't escape the notice of the author either.

I guess this goes to show that SF Fans really do have good taste, even when we are getting maligned for our bad taste
